Hatsune Miku: MERUTO (click image to hear original)
So I lied, my first English adaptation from Nico Nico Douga was not the Nico Nico Medley. Instead, it's another song that's become a recent favorite of mine, メルト ("Melt"), an original song written for Hatsune Miku by ryo. I came across a karaoke version of the song, and I figured I might as well give it a shot. After a day of locating translations and editing it down, followed by 2 evenings of singing attempts, I finally came up with this. My voice wasn't 100% when I made this, and hitting the upper limits of my normal range didn't help either. Either way, I'm satisfied with the results.
After a long wait, Media Phage Blog (the Crypton blog) has released the first Kagamine Rin demo song! Very cute and lively, check it out! You can download it at their site.
Thanks to ミクミク... I've gotten bored waiting for the song for so damn long I stopped checking the site.

Unfortunately, the recording software I was using was having lockup issues, so we decided to give up on editing it and just mark it as episode 00. I just ran a compression filter over it and exported direct to MP3 format.
We learned a lot this time around, so we look forward to putting together a better podcast that isn't gonna be glitchy next time.
