Straight from the rumor-mill: a poster on Amigaworld.net let slip that the cult classic platformer "Cave Story," developed by Pixel, would be released on WiiWare in the near future. This follows the sudden cease of distribution of the game on the creators site and subsequent requests by the creator to stop distributing ports onto other platforms.

I, for one, welcome this. It really gives indy developers hope for getting their games into public distribution and widens their audience. But, what do you guys think?

Turns out there was a major bug in the ports and it got pulled because of that. I am again saddened.
