Now that Wonder Festival is over (check out the excellent coverage at Danny Choo's website), it's time to gear up for the next big thing: Comic Market!

This time it'll be held from 8/15/2008 to 8/17/2008 at the traditional Tokyo Big Site convention grounds. And speaking of tradition, I'm going to start on my bi-annual tradition of gathering up goods to keep your eye out for again, starting after the break. This time I'm going to focus on non-official goods distributed by circles.

So what should we start with? Let's go with one of my favorite artists, Suzuhira Hiro. You may know her as the character designer of Asa, Nerine, and Kareha from Shuffle!
Suzuhira participates in Comiket as the circle "HEART-WORK" and regularly pumps out Doujinshi and goods for the masses. This year, she's going with the following:

Her first offering is a three item set that includes her B5 sized 20 page "Summer Rakugaki (graffiti) Book," a dual sided A4 sized clear file folder, and a gorgeous bag. The Rakugaki book features rough sketches from her work and Macross Frontier fan art. She's also selling telephone cards and wristbands, as well as giving away her mascot character's guitar pick for free.

Next up is the artist of High School of the Dead, Shouji Sato.
He'll be there on 8/17 in the east hall, section A booth 14a under the circle Digital Accel Works selling his newest work, "Karen 100 Shiki."

Playing your DS, have you ever felt that something was just missing in the handhelds software lineup? That there was nothing quite... mature enough? Since their early days of doing business, Nintendo has always strove to be family friendly and have refused to allow adult material be produced for their consoles. Bishoujo game titles that were popular(ish) on early machines, such as the FM-7 and PC-8801, and later on the Sega and Sony consoles (Sega Saturn, Playstations) were never ported to Nintendo consoles regardless of whether they contained adult content or not.

Thank God for the homebrew scene.

Created by Team DSX, "Half Elf Tentacle Assault" will be distributed at their booth during Comiket 74 on a CD where you can load it onto your DS flash cart. Now sexually frustrated players can play through this excitingly adult visual novel and violate the sweet half-elf Colleen and her party. Gameplay features exciting and innovative commands such as "move," "touch," and "rape"!

Expected price: 1980 yen. You can find them in the west hall, area "く" booth 02a on 8/16.
