Comic Market 74 - Part 2 Doujin Games
CAUSE I LIKE DOUJIN GAMES AND STUFF
I was supposed to type this up yesterday (not during work, really, I do tons of it... at work) however nobody expects the stomach bug, much like the Spanish Inquisition. However, instead of being tortured with true torturous implements like the COMFY CHAIR or the CUSHIONS, I was given a light sentence of being constrained to my bed and toilet all day. That combined with one of my favorite resources, DoujinGame.com, having a month hiatus has led to a sort of drought in links for this year. Luckily, I am OCD enough to scour the net for new information, so onward with the blogging!
Note: Comiket is now instituting a mandatory baggage checkpoint for all attendees of Comic Market 74 due to multiple threats that the organizers have received. A sad sad day for the otaku community when they can't even be safe from their own.
First of all, the current favorite of the Otakugen team is this:

Flying! Epic Spells! Epic Battles! Magical Girls in Cute Frilly Dresses! DFC! (Pick any combination of 3 and you'll probably describe what piqued the interest of any one of us here).
The one game I've covered before, Magical Battle Arena pits a slew of magical girls against each other in a battle royal to determine... something. There are individual story modes for each character. This game features Nanoha and Lina Inverse, as mentioned before, as well as Fate Testarossa, Sakura Kinomoto (Card Captor Sakura), Naga, Kukuri (<3 Mahoujin Guru Guru), and 4 original characters.

You can find these guys at the Fly-System booth on 8/16 in the West Hall, booth あ-18a.
Next up, from the famed circle that brought us Gundeadligne and RE: Gundemonium comes:

Meikyuu Wakusei desParaiso! (Hades' Planet desParaiso)
Unlike Platine Dispositif's previous (famous) works, this game is a 2D Dungeon RPG-esque game instead of a side scrolling shooter. Much like their previous games, desParaiso features cute maids as the main characters.
Deep skill tree for advanced dungeon crawling
Fight through the Temple of Hades with your maid and claim the treasure at the bottom!
Finally, we have:

Guro-Bu! Gleam of Force! Brought to you by French-Bread
From the makers of the original Glove on Fight comes a spiritual sequel sans copyrighted characters. Have a full out brawl between adorable high school girls (all wearing gloves of course) until one is knocked out of the ring! (Or watch as you time out and get judged by a hilarious cast of extras). Anyway, since the game is fairly self explanatory, I'll just post some of the gameplay videos. Next time, I'll finish up with the unofficial goodies and move on to the official goods.
